Sharing the gospel of Christ together

We are a community of five rural churches working together with a positive relationship with one another while continuing to minister to our individual communities.The current Morning Star Parish was formed in April of 2002 making it a five point parish consisting of American, Pekin, Sheyenne, Sigdal and Warwick Lutheran Churches. Each of our congregations have active  WELCA groups, two have active children's/youth  ministry serving about 40 children/youth with weekly classes, confirmation,  and summer Bible School programs. MSP has a joint Music Team with members from each congregation taking part. April 9, 2023, Pastor Bethany Wurtz joined MSP as our interim Pastor
